PAST AND PRESENT STUDENTS

BOULEVARD

One of my last student bands I taught at Bach To Rock Port

Washington. Taught some of these aspiring musicians from before they were teens. Im thrilled that every member of this band is still out there making music in their own way. some of them have even taken over some of my old responsibilities! This was going to be their last battle of the bands so they picked some powerful music by performing Shot by Lawrence. I worked them HARD on it and they knocked it out of the park.

KONKUSSION

I taught this band for close to 10 years. In that time they’ve learned dozens of songs, released one album, and recorded a few more singles im praying see the light of day.. It has been wild to see these four dedicated individuals discover this passion in themselves and see how far their hard work takes them. They have Improved exponentially and are ready to take on the world. This video was from the Kids Rock For Kids Battle of the Bands where they placed 2nd! you can check out their music on all streaming platforms.

Drew alexa

Drew was a student of mine for years. I taught her privately on guitar and also in a band setting. She was one of our best soloists, and her band was one of the best bands I ever taught. Her songwriting has always been incredible. She has continued studying music in college and has been releasing music the last couple of years that has been so beautiful and true to her. I Highly recommend checking her out on whichever streaming platform you use. This video was from her last student showcase in high school. I was honored she chose me to help her with her sendoff. Keep an eye on this one. She is only going to get better!

Drew is currently based in Nashville and continues to release PHENOMENAL original music. This is a live studio performiance of her new song Bury It.

EVAN

I’ve taught Evan for about seven years. We’ve gone from Smoke on the Water to playing Tommy Emmanuel, Django Reinhardt, John 5, Fearless Flyers, and Between the Buried and Me. He’s truly a phenom who can learn anything he sets his mind to. Not only can he play, but he also has a well-rounded foundation in theory, numerous genres, a fantastic ear, and very strong right-hand technique—with fingerpicking, alternate picking, and hybrid picking.

He continues to impress, and his talent can truly take him as far as he’s willing to go. Here’s a video of him playing For My Father by Andy McKee. He plays it beautifully.

DEADSHOT

DEADSHOT are some legends in the making. Featuring students I’ve taught over the years, in bands and privately, as well as some newer faces they are taking the LINYHC scene by storm. Their debut EP, Not A Shot, is crushing tune after crushing tune featuring some notable guest vocals from the singers of No Redeeming Social Value and Overthrow. Their style is fast, heavy, and super catchy . They are here to be the new face of the New York Hardcore Scene and people are taking notice.
